About us

Our wines were engendered between the Rheingau-Mountains in the north and the largest river in the whole of Germany – the Rhein-River, which is located in the south.

This wine-growing area is named “Rheingau”, from where we receive our wines.

This area is the only place where the river Rhein changes his flow direction on his 1.233 km long way for a short time, into east-west, to bypass the Rheingaugebirge.
This is the reason why these hillsides receive the full insolation.

The rocks on the hillside are collecting and storing the heat, and the river itself acts as a reflector.

Mild winters, warm summers and fog in autumn facilitate the growing of the vines and the maturity of grapes.

Attributable to this balanced Rhein-climate, the grapes are maturing much longer as compared to warmer wine-growing areas.

The longer the grapes are connected to the vine stock, the better are the flavors and the tasting they are able to develop.

On high grounds, soils out of slate, quartzite, gravel and sandstone are creating spicy, full-bodied wines. On lower, mostly calcareous soils out of sandy loess, full-flavored, powerful wines are growing.

Wines, which grew in the Rheingau-area are famous for their very special bouquet and taste. With their unique character, they are an excellent choice not only in Germany, but all over the world.

We are very proud to be able to provide this extraordinary example of German wine-making craftsmanship to you.
